Have You Got What it Takes to Become an Expedition Leader?

The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run has an exciting new opportunity!

We are on the lookout for six Expedition Leaders who can inspire and motivate participants to achieve their 10k goals on Sunday 25th February 2024. Training in the winter can be challenging – that’s why our Expedition Leaders will be using their skills to guide the way!

The Expedition Team will use their individual strengths to motivate participants; build excitement and fun around the event; and provide practical training advice.

And guess what? You don’t need to be a pro athlete or have thousands of Instagram followers to be successful in the role. While a social media presence may be useful, this intrepid team need to be passionate about helping others achieve their 10k goals, as well as enthusiastic about the event. Because of this, we are welcoming participants of all different running abilities – from total beginners, to those chasing down the pro field – as well as different ages, backgrounds and pretty much anything else!

The team will be announced at the end of November and you can apply to be an Expedition Leader here.

So, if you or someone you know sounds suitable for the Expedition Leader role, make sure to apply before Sunday 12th November.
