Are you a Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2024 participant with a desire to motivate others? Can you win an audience with your communication skills and warm hearts in the process?

If so, we want YOU to be a part of our brand-sparkling-new team of 2024 Expedition Leaders. We are looking for six individuals to motivate participants throughout the winter months all the way to the start line in February.

You don’t need to be a pro athlete or have thousands of Instagram followers to become an Expedition Leader. While a social media presence may be useful, this intrepid team need to be passionate about helping others achieve their 10k goals, as well as enthusiastic about the event.

We’re also looking for beginners or those taking on their first 10km for the team – so don’t be a stranger if you aren’t an experienced runner or participant!

What will our Expedition Leaders do?

The team will be involved sharing their experience, tips, advice with participants on their journey to the event’s start line on Sunday 25th February 2024. This content will be shared on social media and via our website, with the goal of motivating and inspiring participants in their training and fundraising efforts over the winter.

This is probably not one for anyone who is ‘camera shy’! You will become an online presence for the event, and you’ll get the chance to meet the other Expedition Leaders at our in-person event.

We’re looking forward to meeting our Expedition Leader team at this event on Wednesday 22nd November – so make sure you’ve got this date free in your diaries!
