2019 entries are now available in an exclusive launch window

Records were broken on Sunday 4 February 2018 as the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run saw 20,500 runners conquer the cold around the capitals most iconic closed roads. We’re delighted to announce that 2019 registration is now open for the event’s fifth edition, taking place on Sunday 3 February 2019. For a very limited time, places are available at the special reduced launch price of just £34.

The exclusive launch window is only open until 23:59 next Tuesday (20 February), or when the allocation is full. Get ready to party on our central London course with a whole host of winter characters, with more treats and surprises to be announced throughout the year. Brand new for 2019 is the Premium Polar Package, which includes 2019 entry, event photos, personalised medal insert (iTab) and official t-shirt.

The 2018 event took winter entertainment to a new level as the event venue, Trafalgar Square, was fashioned into a winter wonderland surprise, featuring alpine trees, snowy huts and retro ski dancers. The spectacular course which featured famous London Landmarks, was overwhelmed in atmosphere provided by the famous Penguin Party, Husky High Fives, Live Music and don’t forget, the popular polar bear hugs across the finish line on Whitehall. The wonders continued as runners also experienced a brand new arctic experience as they ran through the ‘Yeti Cave’.

The official event ambassador and Winter Olympic Gold Medallist, Amy Williams said: “It’s been amazing to be involved in such an inspirational event. To encourage thousands of people to stay healthy during the winter is a fantastic achievement and I’m so pleased to be a part of it.”
