What’s New at the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run?

The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is celebrating a decade of icy adventures on Sunday 23rd February 2025, and we’re pulling out all the stops to make this the coolest edition yet. Whether you’re a seasoned winter runner or joining for the first time there’s LOTS to get excited about, check out what’s brand new for 2025!

 

10th Anniversary Celebration on Route 🥳

Ten years after the first ever Cancer Research UK London Winter Run our team will be toasting your achievements by donning their best party outfits, putting up wintery birthday decorations, and presenting a giant cake containing a huggable surprise inside! So prepare your best pointy hat, and keep your eyes peeled for the shenanigans shortly after the Penguin Party about 5.8KM into the route.

Grab a Photo at the Big 10 📸

Keep an eye out in the event village for our giant ‘10’ installation, specially commissioned to celebrate a decade of Winter Run fun in London. The design features some nostalgic favourite designs from the last decade and is the perfect spot for a commemorative photo.

Tag us in your best pics on social using @winterrunseries and #WinterRun, and you could be in with a chance to win a free entry to the 2026 event. We’ll pick one lucky winner at random—so get creative and strike your best winter pose!

 

All New HOKA Activities 👟

Head to the brand new HOKA Experience Corner in Trafalgar Square for an exclusive chance to test the latest in footwear innovation—the HOKA Bondi 9! Whether you’re a seasoned 10k runner or just starting out, find your perfect fit and feel the difference in comfort and performance.

But that’s not all! Their Fly Zone will be returning to give you an extra boost for the final stretch, and their Photo Booth after the finish line will provide you with a free souvenir to commemorate your epic achievement.


10th Anniversary Après Party 🎤

Get ready for our biggest celebration yet at the 10th Anniversary Après Party! After conquering the cold, make your way to Trafalgar Square for an unforgettable frosty finale. Enjoy Coldplay’s greatest hits performed live by The Coldplay Tribute, cool down with Runna’s expert led recovery sessions, and soak up the atmosphere with more live music from the Cancer Research UK Rock Choir. Personalised Bibs for Fundraisers 🖋️

Keep your eyes peeled in the event village for some seriously funky bibs – an amazing 1,263 participants earned a hyper personalised bib by raising £25 for Cancer Research UK! 10th Anniversary Medal 🥇

Inspired by the original 2015 medal, showcasing the iconic snowflake from the very first edition and carefully enhanced in every way. This one is more than just a medal—it’s a celebration of 10 years of conquering the cold, and all of you who’ve made this journey with us. This beauty will be waiting for you after you cross the finish line on Whitehall!
