Thursday – Weather Update

The forecast for Sunday continues to show very strong winds, which will have an impact on the event.

We are working with all our suppliers and partners to ensure we can deliver the best run experience possible.

Due to the forecasted weather the following will be impacted for safety reasons:

• Structures and signage

• Inflatable characters

• Some barriers

• Temporary Toilets

Bag Drop: We are currently putting contingency plans in place to find alternative bag storage should the forecast not improve, so please look out for updates. Please remember that we will only accept the official blue drawstring bags in your race pack.

If possible, we ask that runners avoid bringing a bag or try to leave it with a family member or friend. That way you avoid any queues and also this will speed up the process.

Despite the wind we are still looking forward to bringing you the following:

• Amazing central London 10k run

• Music and winter characters to drive you on

• Curling in the world famous Trafalgar Square

• Our sensational 2020 medal

• Chip timing, with instant text results

We’ll update as the situation continues, with a further announcement made by tomorrow (Friday) at 5PM.

We’re sorry for the late changes due to the weather, but are grateful to those taking part.

It’s sure to be a memorable year, and a real badge of honour for those who take part and help us beat cancer.
