Ready to become a Dancing Queen after your Greatest Day?

To honour the 5th year of the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run we are delighted to announce our Après Ski Party, taking place in Trafalgar Square straight after you finish on Sunday 3rd February. You’ll want to celebrate your 10k triumph, so we’ve recruited some of the UK’s best live acts to perform completely live from the iconic steps in front of the National Gallery.

Alongside the impressive line up below, there will be plenty of other activity in the square, including Optimum Nutrition Cool Down Sessions led by Shaun Stafford, photo opportunities with our characters and much more.

 

Here’s the music line up:

11:00 – Rule the World

Here to warm up your vocals, we’ve got the next best thing to Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams. Rule the World have been recognised as the best Take That tribute band in the world, having graced the stage and even performed with the real thing. Expect a hit-laden set including Shine, Never Forget, Greatest Day, Relight My Fire and many more.

11.50 – Optimum Nutrition Cool Down Session

Help those muscles on the road to recovery with a mass cool down session, lead by Optimum Nutrition ambassador and fitness expert Shaun Stafford. Shaun will lead you all through some simple sets to help you on the road to recovery.

12:00 – ABBA Fever

Gimme Gimme Gimme 45 minutes of nonstop hits to dance to! Headlining our Après Ski Party, we have the best ABBA show since… well ABBA themselves! ABBA Fever are known for their incredible live shows, with energetic and pitch perfect performances.

Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper plus many more to keep you singing before your journey back to Waterloo (other local stations are available).

12.50 – Optimum Nutrition Cool Down Session

13:00 – Cancer Research UK Rock Choir

Closing the event, we have an appearance from the performers you continually tell us are your favourite on the route. We’re delighted that the Cancer Research UK Rock Choir will be performing classics you know and love, the ideal singalong to bring our celebrations to a close.

Entrance to the Après Ski Party in Trafalgar Square is free for all runners and spectators, and is in addition to a number of live music performances on the route.

Additionally, participants in the first London Winter Wander will be joining the fun, with all three Wander routes finishing by the party.
