Get ready, London! The excitement is building for the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run, taking place on 15 February 2026, and this year promises to be one for the record books. For the first time ever, the event will welcome a record-breaking 26,000 participants, all coming together to tackle the 10K challenge and support vital cancer research.

But that’s not all – we’re thrilled to announce that Olympic ski-jumping legend Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards will be joining the festivities as the Official Race Starter. Eddie will have the honor of launching tens of thousands of runners through the streets of London, bringing his signature energy and Olympic spirit to the event. 🦅

And the fun doesn’t end at the finish line. Eddie will also be joining the Après Party, giving participants the perfect opportunity to celebrate their achievement, snap some photos with the sporting icon, and soak up the atmosphere of this incredible day. 🎉
