The 2019 Cancer Research UK London Winter Run medal has been revealed.

This high quality metallic memento will be gifted to each person who completes the event on Sunday 3rd February. The central cylinder, which contains a cut out version of the iconic Winter Run polar bear, spins 360 degrees. Other sections feature a carefully applied sand blasted effect, and subtle sparkles.

Reaction on social media, where the medal was revealed with a video on Wednesday 21st November, has been overwhelmingly positive.

Chris Atkinson, responsible for medal design at Human Race Events, said “We went through a number of versions and ideas before we settled on this year’s design. We know how important having a good medal is to celebrate keeping active through the winter. As soon as we got our hands on the final piece we knew we had made the correct decision”.
