How do I know if I am entered into the event?
When you enter through our online system, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry. You will receive email updates and a link to the race information as race day approaches. Please make sure the details we have for you are correct.
Why am I not receiving any email comms about my event?
We recently moved our race communication emails over to a brand new tool, which means the emails you receive are much prettier! However, if you have unsubscribed from any of our marketing emails in the past, we cannot legally email you about your event. If you are worried this is the case, you can resubscribe here.
When will race packs be sent out?
Packs will be posted out from approximately 3 weeks before the event up until the Tuesday before the event (30th Jan). Please ensure that you provide us with the correct address. If you need to update your address details please email our Customer Services team on firstname.lastname@example.org. Runners from overseas can collect their race pack from the event help desk on event day. If for whatever reason your pack doesn’t arrive please go to the event information desk, where our team will be able to issue you with a new pack.
I need to cancel my booking; can I get a refund?
Possibly. But please refer to our Withdrawals Policy for clarification.
Will there be a secure area to store a bag?
Yes. The Bag Drop Area will be very busy, so if you plan on leaving a bag please allow extra time as there will be queues (plan for at least 15 mins in this area). Please note WE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING OFFICIAL LONDON WINTER RUN DRAWSTRING BAGS. These are included in your race pack, which will be sent out as detailed above. We are sorry but other bags including suitcases, backpacks, satchels, briefcases, or sports bags will not be accepted.
How will my time be recorded?
Your time will be recorded with UHF Chip technology. Your timing chip will be included in your race pack and your finish time will be texted to you after crossing the finish line.
Can I listen to music during the race?
Human Race strongly discourage the use of any equipment that acts as an impediment to hearing or concentration when competing. This includes, but is not limited to, mobile telephones, personal stereos and MP3 players. Human Race cannot be responsible for accidents resulting from taking part with such equipment.
I run a business along the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run route/close to the event village. Is there any way that I can get involved?
